Exploring Gongs Workshop - An Introduction

Saturday January 16th : One-day Exploring Gongs Workshop
Earlybird tuition price £165 until December 16th, then £180 thereafter
Sheila is based in Devon, UK, and her Gong Workshops are held in a super rural large studio space in an idyllic setting near Honiton in East Devon. We work from 10am to 5pm with an hour's break for lunch.
The one-day Exploring Gongs – An Introduction - Workshop is designed to give novices and newcomers to the gong world a thorough introduction to the fascinating world of the gong. We will cover various topics to get you started, including : Some history of the instrument; Techniques to play; Listening and awareness; Comparing different gongs; Advice on buying your gong; Gong meditation. This is an ideal workshop for those who want to begin their gong journey with expert tuition in the powerful gong space! There will be plenty of opportunity to use some of the different high quality gongs in Sheila’s collection.
Sheila’s books will be available to buy at this workshop, which counts towards your yearly CPD requirement.
N.B. You do not need to buy a gong to attend this workshop, as a wide variety of instruments will be provided for you to use during the class.

Sunday January 17th : One-day Exploring Himalayan Bowls Workshop

The one-day Exploring Himalayan Singing Bowls – An Introduction - Workshop is designed to introduce newcomers to the Himalayan Singing bowls – commonly called Tibetan bowls, although they are not specifically from Tibet, but from all around the Himalayan region. We will cover various topics to get you started, including : Some history of the instrument; Techniques to play; Listening and awareness; Comparing and combining different bowls; Advice on buying your bowl; Using bowls on the body; Singing bowl meditation. This is an ideal workshop for those who want to begin their journey with the singing bowls. There will be plenty of opportunity to use many of the different sized singing bowls in Sheila’s collection.
Sheila’s books will be available to buy at this workshop, which counts towards your yearly CPD requirement.

Exploring Himalayan Bowls - An Introduction
Two Day Gong Masterclass in Chorley

Sat & Sun January 30th & 31st 2027 - to be held at the Harmony Hub in Chorley, Lancs
This will be a two day Gong Masterclass Workshop aimed at people who want to deepen and develop their work with the Gong. Sheila will be covering deeper practices in this two-day class at the end of January including : deep listening; more advanced playing techniques; entraining gong sounds; sensing & allowing. The workshop will be followed by an all-night Gong Puja ceremony.
The two-day Master Class Workshop will be held from 10am to 5pm on Saturday & Sunday January 30th & 31st, followed by an (optional) all-night Gong Puja ceremony ending early on the morning of Monday February 1st. The venue address is : The Harmony Hub, Holistic Community Centre, 26-28 Market St, Chorley, Lancs PR7 2RX.
The fee for the two-day Master Class Workshop plus Puja is £350 to be paid in advance. An earlybird discount price of £330 is available if this workshop is booked and paid for online more than one month in advance

All Night Gong Puja
An immersive all-night Gong Ceremony
Saturday November 7th 2026 : Memorial & Birthday Puja for Pauline McCrann
Open only to Sheila's current and ex-students, and gong players who knew &
worked with Pauline - 4 spaces left
From 9pm - 8am
Gong Puja participants bring their bedding and sleep in the Puja space while the gongs are played throughout the night, everyone taking a turn. This is a very profound and sacred healing experience, co-created by all players taking part. It is a great opportunity for experienced Gong players/members of the Gong community to meet up & participate together in a powerful healing group Gong event. This Puja is being held in memory of Sheila's late assistant Pauline McCrann
The Gong Puja ceremonies are held at Sheila's main Gong workshop venue in Devon.
Price for Gong players taking part in the Gong Puja : £50
Advance booking and payment is essential for this event.
