GONG COURSE
Established for 16 years, Sheila's Gong Practitioner Training Course is the most comprehensive gong training in the world. Written for the College of Sound Healing in 2009, Sheila taught the Course to new groups of students every year for 16 years until October 2025.
Sheila no longer teaches this year-long Course but has trained other gong tutors to teach it. Please go to the College of Sound Healing website where you will find the other tutors running the Course in different parts of the UK.
If you would like to study with Sheila, she is now starting to run some more specialist workshops, details of which you will find on the Workshops & Events page, as they are added.
MENTORING
The Personal Mentoring Programme has been introduced by Sheila in response to many enquiries from ex students and other gong players, requesting ongoing mentoring after their gong training, whether the training was done mainly with Sheila and/or with other gong tutors.
Sheila's prominent position and long experience playing & teaching in the gong world, as well as her level-headed empathic awareness and ability to see the bigger picture, makes her the ideal person to offer ongoing mentoring to those gong players who need some guidance and advice going forward.

PERSONAL MENTORING PROGRAMME -
Monthly Supervision & Guidance, with Sheila Whittaker
Mentoring & supervision can be very useful on an ongoing basis :
+ For discussion of any issues that arise within a Practitioner's Practice - with individual clients or group work;
+ For answering any questions or concerns a Practitioner or gong player may have
+And for guidance going forward with new plans and ideas.
The Personal Mentoring with Sheila Programme will operate on a monthly subscription basis, which can be cancelled with one month's notice at any time. Sheila wants to keep the monthly fee fairly low, so that as many gong players and Practitioners as possible will find it affordable.

+ A once-monthly personal Zoom call of 30 minutes, at a mutually agreed time

Workshops Location
Sheila's face to face workshops are held on Saturdays and Sundays in a super rural workshop space in an idyllic setting near Honiton in East Devon.
We usually work from 10am until 1pm with a short mid morning break, take an hour for lunch, then resume work from 2 until 5pm including a short tea break.
Our workshops are non-residential; however, if you would need overnight accommodation, a local B & B information list can be provided – please inquire. There is some B & B accommodation available at the venue for those who book early enough.
